About This Honey
What Makes British Wildflower Honey Special
British wildflower honey is among the most seasonally expressive honeys produced anywhere in the world. Because the bees forage across a diverse range of native wildflowers — clover, bramble, borage, phacelia, and dozens more — the flavour and character of each harvest reflects the specific wildflowers in bloom that season.
Our British wildflower honey is harvested in small batches from the English Midlands by our SALSA certified supplier. It is cold-extracted, never heated above hive temperature, and never blended with honey from other regions. What arrives in your jar is exactly what the bees produced in one specific harvest, from one specific landscape.
The result is a honey with genuine floral character — bright, citrus-edged, with natural seasonal variation that makes each jar subtly different to the last. This is the opposite of supermarket wildflower honey, which is blended to achieve a standardised, uniform taste year after year.
Flavour Profile
Floral, bright, and citrus-edged with seasonal variation. Each harvest carries the character of the specific wildflowers in bloom that year. Our most versatile British raw honey.
Origin
English Midlands, United Kingdom. SALSA certified British supplier. Hand-harvested in small batches each season. GS1 barcoded for UK origin verification.
Best Used For
Porridge, cheese boards, cooking, general sweetening. Pairs beautifully with mild soft cheeses and yoghurt. Excellent for baking where floral character enhances the result.
Cristallizzazione
Sets at a moderate pace, varying by harvest. Crystallisation is a sign of raw, genuine honey. Restore to liquid by placing the jar in warm water below 40°C.

Why British Honey Matters
SALSA Certified. Genuinely British. Traceable.
Much of the honey sold as "British" in the UK is blended with imported honey to reduce cost and ensure year-round supply. Our British Wildflower Honey is genuinely British — harvested in England, from English wildflowers, by a SALSA certified beekeeper we work with directly.
SALSA certification means the supply chain has been independently audited against food safety standards that go beyond the legal minimum. It is the same certification standard used by major UK retailers for their food suppliers.
