How to enjoy

Six Ways to Use Your British Bundle

Three distinct honeys, each suited to different moments.

🍞

Soft Set on toast and crumpets

Soft Set is thick and creamy, spreading like butter straight from the jar. No dripping, no mess. Perfect for a proper British breakfast.

🥣

Wildflower in porridge and yoghurt

Drizzle Wildflower into hot porridge after cooking, stir into Greek yoghurt, or spoon over granola. Complex flavour no sugar can match.

🧀

Heather with a cheese board

Heather's bold intensity pairs with blue Stilton, aged cheddar, or a mixed board of British cheeses, crackers, and walnuts.

Wildflower in tea

A teaspoon in English Breakfast or Earl Grey, once the water has cooled below boiling to preserve the raw enzymes.

🍋

Heather, honey and lemon

Stir a spoonful of Heather into hot water with fresh lemon juice. The NHS lists hot honey and lemon among its self-care suggestions for coughs in adults and children over one year old.

🍴

Cooking and baking

Wildflower in marinades and dressings. Soft Set in warm sauces for a smooth finish. Use half the quantity you would of sugar.

What Sets It Apart

Raw Honey vs Supermarket Honey

Not all honey is the same. Here is what sets ours apart.

HoneyBee & Co. Raw Honey

  • Never heated. Cold-extracted to preserve natural enzymes, pollen, and antioxidants.
  • Never blended. Single-origin from one geographical location with full traceability.
  • Minimal filtering. Natural pollen and beneficial compounds stay in the jar.
  • Fully traceable. Every batch tracked from hive to jar. Our British honey supplier holds SALSA Certification.

Typical supermarket honey

  • Pasteurised. Heated to 70 degrees or more, destroying natural enzymes.
  • Blended. "Blend of EU and non-EU honeys" with zero traceability.
  • Ultra-filtered. Pollen removed entirely, making origin impossible to verify.
  • Often adulterated. Some imported honeys contain added sugar syrups.
Three generations of the Nistor family of beekeepers - Fanel, Grigore, and Dragos Nistor - founders of HoneyBee & Co.

Six Generations. Two Countries.

From our family to yours.

Our story begins in the forests and meadows of Transylvania, where the Nistor family has tended bees for six generations. Same hives, same flora, same craft - passed from grandfather to grandson, mother to daughter.

Founder Dragos Nistor brought that tradition to Britain and built it out from there - partnering with British beekeepers in Yorkshire and the English Midlands whose work meets the same exacting standards: raw, unblended, traceable, and ethical.

Whether the jar in your hand came from our family hives or from one of our British partners, the standard is the same: raw, unblended, traceable, and ethical.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Where exactly does each honey come from?
Heather Honey comes from bees foraging on the wild heather moorlands of Yorkshire. Wildflower Honey comes from apiaries across Yorkshire and the Midlands, where bees visit a seasonal mix of meadow flowers. Soft Set Honey comes from Midlands beekeepers. Every jar is fully traceable to its region and beekeeper.
What makes British honey different from imported honey?
British honey reflects the unique flora of the British Isles. Flowers, climate, and soil all influence the flavour. Unlike mass-produced imported honey, which is often blended from multiple countries and pasteurised, our British honey is single-origin, raw, and traceable.
How does the saving compare to buying jars individually?
Buying the three jars individually would cost £34.97 (Heather £12.99, Wildflower £10.99, Soft Set £10.99). The British Honey Bundle is £33.22, a 5% saving plus free UK delivery.
Is the supplier really SALSA certified?
Yes. Our British honey supplier holds SALSA Certification, a nationally recognised UK food safety standard overseen by the Institute of Food Science and Technology. Every batch is traceable from hive to jar.
How should I store raw honey?
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. If any jar crystallises, gently warm it in a bowl of warm water. Soft Set is already naturally crystallised - that is its intended texture.
Is this set suitable as a gift?
Absolutely. Three full-size 280g jars from three British landscapes - an excellent gift for anyone who appreciates British produce or premium food. Add a personalised message at checkout.
What is the delivery time?
Free UK delivery on every British Honey Bundle order. Standard delivery is 2 to 5 working days, dispatched Monday to Friday via Royal Mail tracked.
Can I subscribe?
Yes. Subscribe and save 20% on any single jar - monthly or every three months. Cancel or pause any time.
