HoneyBee & Co.
- 1
Bees forage on single-origin flowers
Acacia forests, wildflower meadows, heather moorland, or sunflower fields. One floral source per batch.
- 2
Cold-extracted and strained
No heat, no pressure. Strained only to remove wax and debris. Every enzyme, pollen grain and antioxidant stays.
- 3
Tested and bottled
Each batch analysed for moisture, HMF and pollen profile before bottling. Full traceability, jar by jar.
- 4
Dispatched to your door
Packed in recyclable glass and shipped Royal Mail. Free UK delivery on 3+ jars.
Typical Supermarket
- 1
Mixed sources from multiple countries
"Blend of EU and non-EU honeys" on the label. No traceability to a single farm or region.
- 2
Pasteurised and ultra-filtered
Heated to 70C+ to stay liquid. Pollen removed. Enzymes destroyed. The honey looks uniform but loses character.
- 3
Potential adulteration risk
Independent studies have found added sugar syrups in a significant share of imported honey at EU borders.
- 4
Sits on a shelf for months
Pasteurisation extends shelf display but strips the honey of what made it worth buying in the first place.

Good to Know
Has Your Honey Crystallised?
Crystallisation is completely natural and a sign of genuine raw honey. It happens because raw honey contains glucose crystals that naturally solidify over time. It has not gone off. It is the opposite: it is proof your honey is real, unprocessed and full of the good stuff.

The acacia honey is absolutely divine. So smooth and delicate. My morning tea has never been the same since I switched from supermarket honey.

I subscribe to the heather honey monthly. The quality is consistently excellent and the subscription price makes it very reasonable for what you get.

A Family Business, Not a Factory

I grew up watching my grandfather and father tend the hives in Transylvania. Every jar we sell carries that heritage. We never blend, never pasteurise, and never cut corners. If it is not good enough for our family table, it does not leave the apiary.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What does "raw honey" actually mean?
Raw honey has been cold-extracted from the hive and strained to remove wax and debris, without being heated above hive temperature (approximately 40 degrees C). This preserves the natural enzymes, pollen and antioxidants that pasteurisation destroys.
What is the difference between your honeys?
Each honey comes from a different floral source, which determines its colour, flavour, aroma and texture. Acacia is pale and delicate, Wildflower is golden and complex, Heather is dark and bold, Soft Set is creamy and spreadable, Sunflower is warm and buttery, and Linden is herbal with a minty lift. See our full range above.
Is your honey really single-origin?
Yes. Every jar is traceable to a named region and harvest. Our British honey comes from our SALSA-certified British honey supplier. Our Romanian honey comes from our family apiaries in Transylvania. We never blend honeys from multiple countries.
How does the subscription work?
Choose your honey, set your delivery frequency (monthly, every 2 months, or every 3 months), and save 20% on every jar automatically. Free UK delivery on orders of 3 or more jars. Change, pause or cancel anytime from your account. Learn more about subscriptions.
Is free delivery included?
Free UK delivery on any order of 3 or more jars, whether one-time or subscription. Standard delivery (2 to 5 working days via Royal Mail) applies to orders of 1 or 2 jars.
How long does raw honey keep?
Properly stored in a sealed jar at room temperature and away from direct sunlight, raw honey keeps very well and remains safe to eat well beyond its best-before date. Flavour is at its peak within 18 to 24 months of harvest. After that point, the honey may crystallise or mellow in flavour, but it does not spoil under normal storage conditions.
Do you offer an NHS discount?
Yes. NHS staff receive a 15% lifetime discount on every order. Sign up to our newsletter with your NHS email and we send you the code automatically. Full details on the NHS Discount page.
What is your returns policy?
Unopened jars in original condition may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Damaged jars are replaced or refunded at no cost to you. Honey is a perishable food, so opened jars cannot be returned. Full delivery and returns policy.
